Dr. Bruce Siebold is an executive with over 35 years of both public and private management experience in marketing, strategic planning, fund raising, state and local economic development, corporate change management, group facilitation and consensus building. He possesses strong communication, leadership and people skills with experience in managing chaos and creating relationships that become partnerships. Dr. Siebold is a former faculty member and administrator in the University of Wisconsin System. He was a faculty member and Dean on the UW-Stout campus. For seven and a half years, Dr. Siebold worked as the Director of the Phillips Plastics Technology Center in Prescott, Wisconsin. Phillips Plastics is a major corporation located in the Northwest Wisconsin area, with annual sales of $240 million and employs over 1,700 people. As Director of the Technology Center, Dr. Siebold lead the corporation’s research and development efforts, facilitated the startup of two new companies and was responsible for the technology transfer back to manufacturing plants located in Eau Claire, Menomonie, New Richmond, Hudson, Medford and Phillips, Wisconsin. In 2007, Dr. Siebold founded Rusk Prairie Consulting Group, LLC, a privately held consulting firm that provides strategic planning, fund raising, marketing and group facilitation services to small and medium sized businesses and economic development organizations. Dr. Siebold and Rusk Prairie have consulted with NorthStar on a number of projects. Dr. Siebold serves on the Governor’s Wisconsin Technology Council, Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence, Menomonie Development Corporation, UW-River Falls College of Business Advisory Board as well as several regional nonprofit boards, including Menomonie Friends of the Library, and the Free Clinic of the Greater Menomonie Area. |
