The Grow North Economic Opportunity Study highlights the results of our recent project to create a strategic economic development plan for Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida and Vilas Counties. The study was commissioned by the Grow North Regional Economic Development Corporation, Inc. in cooperation with the North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board and the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. The Basics of Angel Investing provides an overview of risk capital in general, as well as a basic primer on angel investing. Angel investing in Wisconsin is discussed, including a timeline of the formation of all of the active angel groups currently operating, and a summary of angel investing activity from 2000 through 2004. NorthStar Economics provided the economic research for the document, which was funded by Mason Wells Private Equity. | ||

The Economic Impact of the UW System was presented to the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents to highlight the findings and conclusions of our economic impact study of the University of Wisconsin System, entitled The UW System's Economic Contribution to Wisconsin. An overview of the study is presented, along with our conclusions with respect to the number of jobs created, tax revenue generated, and the total economic impact. | ||
